MS Paint Effects - Roareye Black

You can change the size of the canvas you are working on numerally. Go through Images > Attributes and you get to input the exact height and width you need to work at, this is especially useful for judging backgrounds you are making as you know they'll be the perfect size. This also allows you to change the scaled size to centimetres, inches and to make the picture black and white only.

You can have a grid on when you zoom in to help you determine which pixel is what. When you get into the program enough, you'll be able to determine pixels easily, even if they're the same colour, however this helps to start with. It doesn't distort the picture, it's just there when you zoom in as a guide. To use this effect, go through View > Zoom > Show Grid or use Ctrl+G. Do the same to deactivate it.

You can flip and rotate the image you have by highlighting it with FreeForm or Select and right clicking on it, and going to Flip/Rotate... this will allow you to flip the image horizontally or vertically as well as rotate the image by 90, 180 and 270 degrees.

You can also stretch the image numerally by highlighting the object and right clicking on it, then going to Stretch/Skew... There will be options as shown left. To use stretch will simply enlarge or shrink the object by whatever numeral you put in (Judged by percentage) OR if you wish to make the image stretched at only one angle (The top and left sides) then use the Skew options. If you want to stretch or skew the object the other way, then use minus (-)percentages.
