Model Editting - Feet - Joe the Echidnafox

Welcome to the Model Editing Tutorial. This tutorial will show you how to manipulate an existing sprite, add features from other Pixel Art pieces, and modify a piece to give it more of a unique style. Please Note that you should never edit a sprite that has been created by another Artist, only use sprites and Pixel Art pieces from within commercially released games.

There is very little left to explain in this section, since the feet will act in almost exactly the same way as the hands. Make sure that you choose a set of feet that will fit and be at the correct angle without twisting the legs. In this case I am using Sonic's old shoes.

One good idea when editing shoes is to separate them. This sometimes presents a problem since one shoe covers a part of the other, so you'll need to use your imagination to fill out the rest. Customize the design of your shoes using the 3 techniques you have practiced previously in this tutorial.

When Placing the shoes on, make sure you do it in the correct order. The shoe furthest away should go on first so that the other one can be placed on top and in front of it.

Now your new custom character is complete. Sit back and take a look at your work. From here you can use the other shading techniques and styles to further customize you character.
